Managing Broker - Mortgage Brokerage

DLC DOMINION LENDING is adding a Managing Broker to our mortgage brokerage team. We consist of 30 fully trained brokers. This is a great opportunity with huge earning potential. See more details below;

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and review all pertinent information within loan file for compliance with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines

  • Application of all applicable policies and regulatory guidelines for the credit decision process

  • Select required conditions on each loan which must be satisfied prior to funding

  • Correspond with appropriate parties to obtain outstanding documentation to complete requirements as needed


  • Flexible schedule – hours will be Mon – Fri 10 – 3PM

  • Free to do your own deals

  • Base salary plus bonus structure

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 years relevant mortgage loan underwriter experience is required

  • Comprehensive knowledge of underwriting guidelines

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and analytical skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and maintaining the company's customer service standards

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

We are currently looking for a Licensed Assistant to join are team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule including evening and weekends when needed. Must possess a propensity to excel. The office is busy and fast paced so we need someone that can keep up with demand.


  • Managing incoming phone calls, messages and otherwise

  • Inventory and ordering various office supplies

  • Broker load listings into MLS

  • Prepare agreements of purchase and sale, amendments, waivers and other documents as required

  • Be the first point of contact for customers coming into the office

  • Maintain listing or deal files in an organized and complete manner

An established office is looking for an experience Conveyancer. This position is full-time Monday - Friday.

Conveyance Duties:

The primary responsibility of the Conveyancer will be to perform all activities relating to the administration of real estate sales transactions.

Some duties include:

  • Answer all conveyance related incoming calls and handle caller's inquiries

  • Enter and process all transaction (deal) files

  • Review all documents submitted by the realtors and verify file as complete

  • Send documentation and instructions to notaries/lawyers/other brokerages

  • Perform & send agent billing, payouts of commissions, and excess deposit cheques

  • Preserve confidentiality of all client information in accordance with FINTRAC

Strata Managers


We are currently seeking trainee-level and experienced Strata Managers commited to excellence in strata management. The primary responsibilities of the Strata Manager are maintain company policies and procedures regarding property operations at all times. Maintain a current, in depth knowledge of each property within the assigned portfolio. Demonstrate strong financial management skills in order to meet client expectations.



  • Reporting to one of our Regional Directors

  • The Strata Manager is responsible for providing management services to a diverse portfolio of strata buildings Attending required meetings (strata council and general meetings)

  • Conducting property inspections

  • Supervising and/or directing employees/contractors within the portfolio

  • Performing financial and administrative functions

  • This position will require work outside regular business hours, weekends or holidays



  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Possess the ability to work in a high volume face paced environment

  • Be able to multi-task, prioritize to meet precise deadlines and be able to adapt quickly to change

  • Possess superior communication skills in both written and verbal with a successful track record in working with clients/staff at all levels

  • Possess 2+ years’ experience managing residential strata properties

  • Possess a Strata Manager license

  • Possess Valid BC driver's license and automobile with business insurance

  • Have experience managing larger buildings (120units+)
